FBI PCC Fingerprints

Hey guys,

I'm currently looking to obtain Police Clearance Certificate from FBI.

1. Can I get my fingerprints done from a private vendor, rather than a nearby Police Department?

2. Instead of Ink fingerprinting , can I go for LiveScan (Electronic) fingerprints ?

I live in Michigan. I'd really appreciate your inputs.

1. Yes, for Dallas I'm aware of "IdentoGO" where you can do that. Not sure of Michigan.
2. No.. I repeat No. You have to send the paper print with all the required documentation.

Remember - they do take 2-3 months for getting you the report. Not that they check for that long, they will pickup your case in the 2nd month. The best way to find if they did is to send your credit card details. That way, when they charge you - you will have the ETA for getting their report.
