FBI PCC - Credit card charge

Hi ,

I have applied for FBI PCC and used Credit card as payment method.

I have used HDFC credit card and in the payment form it asks for credit card number , Expiry date and CVV no etc.

While I make online transactions , payment asks for 3D secure pin.

How does FBI bypass this 3D secure pin validation during the payment?

Do I have to inform the bank to deactivate the 3D secure pin validation temporarily till FBI charges the CC?

Please help me with the issue.

For Knowned merchant's like CIC who charge the payments, 2nd level authentication is not required and bank bypass this check for CC payment. That's my understanding of this !!

In case of CIC, HDFC will not ask for the addition 2nd level security password and this payment will be cleared, do not worry at all, just wait the CC to be charged.
