FBI fingerprints for Police clearance from USA- From Hyderabad India

Hello Friends,

I got the ITA on March 01 2017 (Cutoff 434) with a CRS score of 436.

I did my Masters in USA 12 years back . Do I need to get the FBI clearance for PCC from USA?

Is there a good agency in Hyderabad India that does this.

I searched and found JK consultancy in Hyderabad . Are they reliable? They are charging INR 18.5 K for expedited process and say they can get the results in 7 days.

If you lived in USA for more than 6 months after turning 18, you need a PCC from FBI. If you are a US citizen, you can use channelers which will expedite your PCC for a large fee. If you are not a US citizen, you have to apply through FBI directly which can take 12-16 weeks and there you are likely to miss your 90 day deadline. If you use channelers, it would be illegal and could lead to refusal. The CIC website clearly mentions that some countries take long to issue a PCC and it is better to apply for it in advance.
