FBI fingerprints:Digital or Ink?

Can you actually get them done digitally onto the card you print out from the FBI site?
Are there any advantages to doing it this way?

I had mine done with ink today but starting to wonder if I should have had them done digitally as I just heard of them now.
I am afraid they will say the fingerprints weren't rolled good enough.

Did you do it with ink or digitally?

FBI doesn't accept digital prints (they are sent electronically)

I don't know if this is what you were talking about, but if the police department collects the prints electronically and then prints them out onto the cards, that's OK. It's what the NYPD does.

As long as they are printed on cards that is fine, but digital printing is where the prints are sent electronically and matched electronically, no hand search
