IF I remember right, My FBI Clearance is going to expire on June 27, one year after it was issued. I got the PPR on May 23. Most people get the COPR about a month later.

This would leave me just FOUR DAYS to land.

That's IF I'm right about the June 27 date. It might happen sooner. I MIGHT be able to pull it off, but that's only IF I have that four day window. Any less and I'm screwed.

Is there no way to extend this? What happens if they send the COPR too late and it's expired when I get it? Am I just completely screwed then?

Not sure, my post is gonna help, seniors can correct me. but i think medicals need to be upto date with regards to your landing.

PCC needs to current on/while process of your application. IF they need a new one they will request it, i am yet to see any post regarding an expired PCC and they requesting new ones. I am not saying it wont happen, but it is rare. It also depends on where you live and your application as such. What does your ECAS says.

Medicals on the other hand, should be valid on your day of landing. I am sure the CIC will accommodate that while issuing your PR.

Warm Regards

Medicals are no issue. Those are from like September. It's just the police certs.

Landing deadline is based on medicals not police cert.

So even if it's passed the one year mark I'm ok? They only need it "current" in evaluation? I could have sworn I heard the deadline is based on the earlier of the police certs or medical eval.

Hm. To be honest I've only ever heard of the medical eval being the deadline but I could be wrong. Sorry!
Edit: this is just my opinion but I think they would either have requested a new FBI clearance with the PPR or automatically extended it for you to give you more room to land.

The deadline is based on the 1 year medical exam. However some CIC agent can ask for an extension of medical exam validity extending it by another 6 to 12 months. That won't happen all the time, it is completely up to the agent examining the papers to decide.

FBI clearance is usually till they start their own checks, once it's done then you don't need a new one ( unless specifically asked ) - my folks FBI expired like 6 months before they landed - so no worries on that part
