Me and my husband have applied for PR last July. We had not received our FBI checks by then, so we submitted explanation letters along with all other documents. CIC gave us 60 days extension as usual (which expires Mid-September). During this period, my husband who is a primary applicant got back his FBI report but in my case, they were not able to read fingerprints and asked for another set. I immediately sent the second set of fingerprints but not expecting to get anything back before September end. So, it looks like I wont receive my FBI report before the CIC deadline.
Now, I have two questions.
1. I am thinking to submit my husband's FBI report along with another explanation letter explaining my situation. I am hoping they would give me another extension. Does anybody else have had the same experience?
2. If I submit those documents right now (i.e before the deadline), will they go ahead and process his application? or they are gonna wait till they receive both of our reports?
I will really appreciate your help.
