FBI Clearance

Hi,

I have a quick question. My husband and myself are applying for a Canadian PR through the express entry program. I am working in Canada in a work permit already and he is working in the US currently. We are initiating the FBI clearance from the US as per the work permit requirements.

I have a question regarding the same. Considering the long processing times for the FBI clearance, can he exit the US while the FBI clearance is being processed?

Of course. The PCC is only for CIC, he can travel in and out of any country as needed. Keep in mind though that the PCC will be valid only for 180 days i.e. 6 months for the country of residence which in US in his case.
