Hi guys,

I've had my fingerprints done, got the money order & application form filled out. I'm having a problem with the return mail option on the form.

It has the following options:
1. FEDEX Account # (I asked the local FEDEX office & they said they're not offering it here)
2. Prepaid Return Envelope (I went to every courier in islamabad today as well as the post office no one could make one for me)
3. First-Class Mail (I'm not really sure what this option means)

Could someone who's been through this process please help me out with this. The first two options are ruled out & i'm not sure what they mean by First-Class mail. If i choose this option will the FBI return me the results on their own expense via first class mail?

I'm not really sure what other options i have left other than mailing my documents to a friend in the states & have him mail them to the FBI with a pre-paid envelope. Please help me with this as i don't have much time. Thanks a lot.

Any help with this? I guess the only option is to send the documents to my friend in the states & have him forward them to the FBI?

yes, first class mail means they just send it via the regular postal system (they will pay). Depending on how long regular mail takes, and how reliable delivery is in Pakistan, you may be better off having the FBI send results to your friend, who can ship via courier to you. (there's a place on the cover letter for "mailing address" - you can put your friend's address there.) You can send the application directly to the FBI tho.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't want to waste any more time so i just sent the documents to my friend in the U.S. He'll forward them to the FBI for me & will enclose a prepaid envelope that will be returned directly to me. I guess this will be quicker than the first class mail option.
