FBI clearance certificate

Hi guys,

I have applied for FBI police clearance certificate one month before and waiting for the reports. I read on FBI website that they need 32 days to complete the scrutiny process and I have only 15 days to submit this report to canadian immigration officer.

How can I contact FBI office and do they give any information about the status of our application? Please forward me the contact details (ph and/or email) so that I can communicate with them.

Please advice.

If the FBI clearance report does not arrive in time, you send a request to your VO/processing office for extension. Last year, I informed VO about such delay and he/she asked me to submit it whenever it is available.

Sorry to hear of your frustration getting an FBI certificate.

It took 2-3 months to receive our's. There doesn't seem to be any means of inquiring for the status of an application. It is sitting on the desk of some career bureaucrat somewhere who will eventually get to it.

If you need it in a few weeks, then proceed as if it will not arrive by then. You'll have to send it on when it arrives.
