I know that PR can be denied if you have a family member that is "inadmissible to Canada."
I assume they mean a family member that is coming with you/part of your PR application.
However, I'm curious to know if anyone else knows differently.
I'm an adult (31f) and applying for Express Entry PR. My father is a felon. I am estranged from him, and do not speak with him. However, they still ask for family member name/info on the PR Express Entry app of all immediate family members (siblings/parents)....so I have included his info (DOB, full name etc.)
Should I make a note in my Letter of Explanation that I am estranged from him? Or is it not likely to impact my application that he has a criminal record?
