Hi all,

I just have a quick question. Well I’ll tell you my scenario first I guess. My mother has been diagnosed with a rare form of bile duct cancer and is in an advanced stage currently. We have no family in Canada other than myself and my siblings. My mother recent lost my grandmother and my father, you can imagine how mantally devastated we are at the moment. My question is, would I be able to sponsor any of my mother’s siblings to come and provide some mental comfort for myself and my mother? As I am the primary caregiver for my mother and I am overwhelmed at this point and feel the need for help. If so please advice.
Thank you

Unfortunately, assuming you and your mother/siblings are already in Canada, there is no way for you or her to sponsor any of her siblings/relatives.

Thank you for the heads up. I just thought it would be better for her to have a siblings here so that she feels mentally stronger and I have a helping hand around the house.
