1. Yes....you can include Baptismal Certificate and other document like Voter's ID card.......

Refer......Spousal Sponsorship Checklist.......section.......SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS FOR SPONSORED PERSON

Birth certificates or baptismal certificates for yourself (and all your dependents, if applicable – whether they are accompanying you to Canada or not)

Also.....Refer.........Country Specific Instructions

India – Instruction(s) for documents
  • Birth certificates issued in this country: If a birth is registered late, include the original baptism certificate and other original documents establishing identity such as:
    • Old school records (Fifth class, Middle standard and Matriculation/secondary school certificate), and
    • Voter's ID card.

2. Only the Principal Applicant (i.e., your wife) and any of her dependants aged 18 or over (who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents) need to provide Police Certificate.

Police Certificate is not required from Principal Applicant (i.e., your wife) family members such as her brothers, sisters, parents, etc.

Refer......Sponsorship Checklist...

You (the principal applicant), and any family members 18 or older (who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents), must submit police
certificates from the following country or countries at this time, unless indicated otherwise on the police certificate webpage:
