Family sponsorship, status is still "in process" and it's almost a year now.

Hi, I was wondering if someone went through the same thing with their sponsorship (for parents) like I am now.

I submitted my application in May of 2009
Received a response from the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga on March 2012 that they are now ready to process the sponsorship application
Submitted all requested documents before the 90 days grace period
(Parents and sibling) Requested to under go Medical Examination: May 2013
Payment of Right of Permanent Residency fee requested July 2013

Medical examinations are valid for 12 months so we have already gone beyond that and we still have not received any updates from the Canadian immigration. I'm just worried that our application may have fallen through the cracks so to speak. My family had submitted all the documents they had asked for like passport, NBI clearance and what not.

I'm not really sure what to do. Does anyone have any advice or have gone through the same experience and still got the OK from immigration? Please help.

Your processing times sound normal to me.

Sister sponsored me from canada - need reply urgently

My sister sponsors me and my sister in aug 2009 from toronto ontario canada,

*They called last year and take some information about me and my sister ,
*After that they send me mail in which they have required some documents (it had to be submitted within 90 days)
*After that i have not received any response from canadian high commission,

Lastly, they have send me last updated status as:

"Dear Client,

This is in response to your email (see below).

Your application is currently in process and is waiting to be reviewed by a decision-making officer. After this review, the file will be advanced to the next stage of processing.

In compliance with the department's commitment to the "first in, first out" policy, we process cases in the order they are received as our office. Your application will be reviewed upon it turn in queue.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Please note that we will be unable to reply to messages which do not include either the name AND date of birth of the primary applicant or the file number under which your application is being processed.

Regards,

Immigration Section
Canadian High Commission, Islamabad"

Can anybody tell me how much long it will take more to complete the process ? ?
