Family Sponsor Question IMM 5768 and IMM 0008

Hi there,

I am confused between the numbers of people fill in for IMM 5768 Financial Evaluation for question #3 and the numbers of people in Generic Application Form IMM 0008 question #3.

My family members : Dad, Mom, 1 eldest sibling, myself, and three younger siblings , total 7 people.
I (sponsor) and my spouse (co-signer) living in Canada and plan to sponsor 3 people my Dad, Mom and Youngest sibling.

Numbers seems like confused when I fill in? Should I write 7 or 5 people in IMM 0008 (Q3) ? and in IMM 5768 what number should I fill in (since it auto add up) for the result of determining minimum necessary income at Q7 (IMM5768). Really confused! Please help!

Your family members are only you, your spouse, and your own children. (from your post, you do not have any children yet)
If you are sponsoring your parents, one of them is principle applicant (let's say your dad). Then your mom and your siblings who are under 22 years old and not married nor in a common law relationship are dependents of your parents.

The family size to determine income require is your family size + applicant's family size.
How old are your 3 younger siblings? Are they married? That will determine if you need to include them in the family size calculation.

Assuming that only 1 of your siblings are under 22 (your youngest as you stated), then the size would be:
you + your spouse + dad + mom + 1 sibling = 5
If any of the other siblings are considered dependents of your parents, they HAVE to be included in the application to calculate the family size. It's not up to pick who is included and who isn't.
