Family relation certificate question

Hello,

One of the country specific documents that are required to submit for sponsorship is a family relation certificate (Korea). Since I am not in Korea at the moment, my mother sent me a photocopy of the certificate and I have since then translated it from a translation agency in Canada. Is it okay for me to submit everything as it is (the photocopy of the true certificate, along with an English copy that has been officially translated by a translation agency) or am I missing another step?

Thanks!

  • A copy and certified translation of the “Family Relation Certificate” issued within six months of the date of application.
  • A copy and a certified translation of your “Marriage Relation Certificate”.
That's what it says on the website....So I'm assuming a copy, and a certified translation.

Yeah that's what I figured too, I've heard the term "certified copy" thrown around but there isn't anything on there specifying that so I'm hoping the photocopy is sufficient enough and doesn't cause any delays. Thank you!
