Hi All

My wife is wanting to bring her brother, sister in-law and nephew to visit us here in Canada from Brazil. Just wanted to get some information and advise on a few things. 1 can i do the application online for them? What would help make this work for them to get the visa. Also even tho they have money not a lot will they except the fact that we would pay for the entire visit. All advice and help would be appreciated.

Hi,

You can help them fill it in. Remember they have to use their own account.

Yes, they are expected to be able to afford the trip. Sponsorship is only considered AFTER they satisfy CIC of their ability to cover their own expenses.

Also she can use the representative form to be their representative.
On a side note, do you think $20,000 would be good for parents to show beside host sponsor's fund?
