Hi,
I recently had the Canadian PR status through Ontario Provincial Nomination (OINP) as well as my wife and kids ( I am the main applicant) but we did not settle yet in Canada. The issue is that we currently live well with a very good paid job and we love the country where we are which that made us hesitate to go and live in Canada.
At the same time we don't want to loose the opportunity of getting the Canadian citizenship for the kids at least.
My question is: If my wife and kids go and live in Canada for 4 to 5 years without me and I stay where I am now and will definitely loose my PR, is there a risk that they do not get the citizenship because I am a provincial nominee and main applicant and lost my residency?
