Wondered if there is anyone that can help.

I have 2 children and mi wife who will emigrate to Canada with me.

We are worried that we have problems with some medical conditions that will affect our application.

My wife has mild Multiple Sclerosis which does not require medical treatment.

My son is Type 1 Diabetic.

I am the main applicant, and the one that will be working. I have no medical conditions, nor does my other son.

Do you think this would affect our application to imergrate to Canada?

I am hoping to qualify for express entry.

Thanks,

DC

Do a search in the top right white box for threads on medical inadmissibility. Focus on cost of care. There are stated limits on annual health care allowances per person. You may have to get additional evaluations from your son's and wife's care providers on present and potential future expenses. All the best.

Your son's condition won't cause problems. Your wife's might since it is a degenerative disease.

If the costs of your wife's care in Canada today, or within the next five years, exceed $6,500 per year - then you may run into issues getting the application approved. If CIC plans on refusing your application due to your wife's condition, they will send you a letter first and give you a chance to respond and change their minds.
