Family information URGENT!

Hello my grandmother is applying to visit my family in canada but in the form family information it asks for the exact birth date of her parents. She knows the year they were born but does not know the date.... can we just put n/a because we dont know how we could retrieve that information

Just the year and N/A if it accepts that, other wise use the 01 Jan, and include a note that she doesn't know the date.
