Family in canada has to mention or not..

Dear all,
I have my one brother in canada..living as PR overthere.now me & my wife going to apply skiled visa..and my wife is main applicant. but due to some reason i dont want to mention my family in canada allready.. and also he is not able to provide me his proof of income etc..so if i will mention i don't have family in canada.. is that ok....

Please advise me..

You should mention your brother. You get extra points for him. Nobody cares about his income, you just have to prove that he's your brother.

it could be risky...

in additional family information, you'll provide father, mother details.. let's say you hide yur brother, but they may run their database and find an existing PR with same father-mother...

this will definitely get your application rejected and your's brother will come under question and risk his PR...
