Hi: My maternal uncle resides in canada for the past 35+ years and submitted a petition for sponsoring me tocanda thrugh a candadian lawyer. Its been 18 months and my petition is still in "In Process status. I resides in Pakistan. I want to know how much time it usually takes for the petition to be finalized. Also, they started processing my case in December 2008, now that the Canadian Embassy has shifted to UK, what wold be the status of my file, will it also be shifted to UJK first for processing?. Need help, TIA

Well it will now be processed in LOndon and the process times there re 15 months for 80% of the cases from the time it reaches the visa office.So it shouldnt be much longer but it all depends on your criminal checks,it seems getting criminal checks out of london lately have been a longer process.
