I was hoping to obtain some information in regards to immigration into Canada, but first allow me to introduce myself so you can better understand my situation.

I have been working in Canada for since 2004 on Work Permits, In 2007 I married my wife who is a Canadian Citizen, we currently live in BC and we have a baby on the way. In light of this great news I have decided to go forward and attempt to become a permanent resident/Citizen status in Canada.

I am a US Citizen.

Her family is all in Canada and my family is all in the US, this is our first marriage for us both and first baby for us both, I have no criminal or medical conditions.

I am hoping to apply within Canada since I work here and my wife is also here.

Can anyone let me know which forms to fill out and send in? i have checked the website and i am very confused at the moment :( i am not usually easily confused but these forms are really twisting me!

Is it possible for someone to send me a complete list of the forms i will need to fill out so my wife can sponsor me for PR pretty pretty please??

I posed here as a last resort as I really dont want to pay the thousands that I have to pay a lawyer to do it.

I have asked the lawyer some questions and the only thing he does is give me the forms to fill out and thats it for $3000, which is crazy for a bunch of forms to be filled out :( and then for me to submit on my own...

if ANYONE can send me that list i would be in your debt :)

If you want to make it easier... i can send out my email address to anyone who needs it so that they can send me the forms i need to fill out in order to submit this application. Or the list will be great too.

thank you very much and look forward to any help you folks can offer me.

you can find anything you need here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/spouse.asp

If you have questions about forms, please be more specific such as name of form, page number..etc

No need to use lawyer but you need to research on the CIC website above first. Everybody here follow the same path...research then questions.

Remember, you will have to produce birth and marriage certificates and a diagram of how you are related.
