Hi all, I am a Canadian Citizen and my wife is from New Zealand. She originally came here in Canada under the experience class program (back packing visa) which is one year work experience. Before her visa expire we got married and applied for work extension and permanent residence. She was granted to extend her stay and work for 6months. Now 2 weeks before her work permit expire we received a letter from the mail advising her to leave the country on or before her visa expire. Immigration refused her application for permanent residence for not complying for medical exam, The immigration told us that they sent us an email requesting for her medical exam but we did not receive it.
We have to reapply for her permanent residence again and pay the fee and add another work extension under the change of condition. Her work visa will expire by end of the month, can she still continue working under the emplied status until we can hear from the CIC Canada again?
