Hello All,
I am a new member of the forum and have a question about family class sponsorship for parents.
In the checklist (IMM 5771E) it has been stated that the marriage certificate is the proof for principal applicant’s relationship to an accompanying spouse. My parents were married in 70’s and do not have a marriage certificate. If a notarized affidavit will be sufficient in this case to prove the relationship? Both of their passports have each others names stated as spouse.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
SJ
