Family application question about test invite

I have applied as family - 2 adults and 2 kids. I got update on my tracker for test invite earlier this week + received test invite email around 1 hour ago today but for my husband, everything is still in progress. He did not receive any test invite email too. He has only one line in his tracker (application filed only). Is it normal for a family application that different members get test invite at different time?

I thought that all members for a family application are processed at the same time except if they notify you. We having received any notification that our application are going to be processed separately.

No. It’s totally normal for family members to receive test and interview notifications separately. Sometimes one spouse needs fingerprints while the other doesn’t, so timelines tend to diverge in those cases. Makes you wonder why they even have that option in the first place.

Although AFAIK the oath does tend to be done as a group. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong.
