What’s up guys, as I was filling out the forms for spouse sponsorship I checked no on the questions that ask about visa refusal but this wasn’t on purpose I just skimmed through questions the first things didn’t concern me so I answered no, IRRC sent me a procedure fairness letter asking for An explanation for failing to declare a previous TRV refusal and submitting new IMM0008 form so i was wondering how can I explain this? I really don’t how to go about it and feel like i can just say I did read well the question. If anyone can help or has been there ur help is well appreciated I don’t want to fuck up even more. Also how bad is receiving the Procedural Fairness Letter, will it affect the next steps in the file? Thanks y’all

Bit late for that now. Once the PFL is issued, it's generally too late to make a correction. I'd suggest a good immigration lawyer (Canadian) at this point.
PFL is not too late, just a last chance to do that. You need to admit your mistake and proof that it was innocent. Besides, if they ask to fill out IMM0008 again, it may be a good sign
Thats what i thought too they didn’t mention anything about misrep or ban or anything they just asking for those n them reasking the form seems like hope but still i find it tricky to justify/prove the intention other than saying it was a mistake
