Myself Dr. Neha Agnihotri, bachelor of dental surgery ( BDS), Masters in Oral Pathology (MDS), Ph.D. in oral tongue cancer, India. I am writing this to inquire about working in Canada as a dental professor. I am having 4 years teaching experience in dental college, Maharashtra, India. I don't want to do licensed clinical practice as a dentist but want to work in dental college as an associate professor.
Is it possible to work as an associate professor in any esteemed institute without giving any licenced exams? Or can I work in research institute as a postdoctoral research associate based on my Indian qualification?
Please guide and inform me regarding the same. Awaiting for your reply
Thanking you,
Best regards
Dr. Neha Agnihotri

Imagine it will be hard. Many professors work part-time while practicing. You will have to look for open positions and apply. Given your specialized training theses opportunities won't come up that often.
