Hey Guys,

I came to the US in 2015 from India on an F1 visa for Masters in STEM and currently I am pursuing OPT here.

1.What are my options for moving to Canada?
2. What are my options/ chances of securing a job related to my field of study.

1. Your options are the same as anyone else's. The fact you hold an F1 doesn't give you any advantages. If you wish to immigrate to Canada, you'll need to research Canada's immigration programs to see what it takes to apply and if you qualify. You can find detailed information here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/apply.asp

2. Unlikely. It tends to be extremely difficult to find employers willing to go through the LMIA process because it's so long and expensive. In order to be approved for a work permit, you need a job offer from an employer in Canada and that employer needs to obtain an approved LMIA.

I am also a F1 student can I get study permit in canada?
Do I need ielts again?
It may be difficult because you need to prove ties to your home country. Your chances are better if you are doing a masters or PhD. You need to do IELTS again if your scores are no longer valid.
