Extra Medical exams needed - where to ask for extension

We were asked to redo our medicals after a year. When we renewed them the CiC panel physician found something concerning and wants to do additional testing. The results for this test will take 8 weeks and then an additional 4 weeks for a follow up. When we asked them where to send an email requesting an extension for our medical exam, it says we only have 30 days to do the medical, the doctor and nurse told us to just reply to the original email requesting the re-medical but this email is an automated DO NOT REPLY style email and we have not found the exact email to send to. Also what information do we need to supply aside from the brief explanation of the additional testing and UCI number? None of this information was found in the original request. you can do multiple things:
1. do as the doctor suggested and reply back directly to the email the request came from (if you do this, i'd recommend also contacting them through another means to be sure they received the information)
2. send a case specific enquiry through the cic website
3. send the request by contacting the visa office per the instructions listed in the Sponsor Approval letter.

Include a request for an extension, an explanation of the issue, the applicant's uci number, and the file number. if the doctor gave you anything at the appointment, send that too.
