I am completing my studies on December 15, and my study visa is valid until December 31. I am considering whether I should apply for an extension to cover any possible delays in receiving my final transcripts. I've heard that if my college delays the issuance of transcripts, I might not be eligible for a work permit if I’m without valid status in Canada. Could you please guide me on the best steps to take in this situation? Any advice on maintaining eligibility for the post-graduation work permit would be very helpful.

Apply for PGWP and pay for study permit restoration as well. You cannot work during the application processing.
