Where it says on the application "Funds" what amount do I put here since I am being supported by my parents and her mother? I have not much at all in the bank account but they are financially supporting me. Do I put what they all make together in a year or leave it blank and explain?

my situation is similar. for the "funds" question, i put the amount of money i had in my bank account plus an amount my parents pledged to give me. then, in my separate letter of explanation, i stated that this money would be going mostly to incidental expenses, and that my spouse and mother-in-law would be paying for rent, groceries etc.

if i had no money saved up at all and was entirely dependent on my spouse and mother-in-law, then i would try to calculate how much it would cost them to keep me fed and sheltered for the duration of the visit, and put that amount. include a letter of explanation regardless. i would not put $0, nor would i put their entire salary, and i think the form will fail to validate if you leave it blank.

Ok so should I put about 14,000 CAD? Seeing how my girlfriend gets 700 monthly for housing, and our parents will be paying electricity/food?

I think they want the actual amount in your bank account, at least that's my interpretation. Back in the day my parents were helping us too and I gave them a pay stub from my dad to show this. We also showed an amount in our joint bank account, and of course explained the situation.

You can add an explanation on a separate sheet of paper (or file upload if done online), just label it with your info and what IMM form and question number it is referencing.

I don't think I should put it at 0. People say not to do this, I think I'll add up the cost it would be for food/housing and put it there, then explain to them what I meant. Is this ok to do?

Sorry I may have misread... is this for your pr application or extending your visitor visa?

I'm in a similar situation. I'm currently on an IEC which expires while well be waiting for our marriage certificate so I need a visitor extension with little money in my account but financial support from my partners family
