Hi there,
I'm an American who is in the process of applying for residency since I've recently married a Canadian. One of the questions on the application form asks for my current country of residence which is here in Canada and it requests the dates I arrived til how long I am staying and also what my status is. I selected that I am a "visitor" but I am not sure what to put down for dates. Do I enter the recent date of entry (I stayed for 3 months in the winter and then left for 3 months for summer and have recently arrived back to live here) and if I plan to keep staying here what date am I supposed to put as my end date? Perhaps its the date from when my legal 6 months of staying here is up? There is no option to write "present" or anything like that, so I was wondering if anyone had any idea about this??? Any input would be appreciated, thanks!
