extension of visitor status

We applying for visitor extension from inside canada. On form 5708E which box to check for extension?

* Extension of my temporary resident status
or
*Initial temporary resident permit or extension of temporary resident permit

anybody, any ideas which box to pick? my previous application was canceled because i picked wrong option.

What do you hold? A TRV or a TRP?

Assuming you hold a TRV you should pick the first option.

I think its a TRV what i have.

its just says VISTOR, category V-1 as a stamp in passport.

Last time i picked "extension of my temporary resident status" and they canceled my application saying that its wrong...I called them and they now reinstated the process but still no answer and i dont know if i should pick this option again.

just too confusing now
