Hi everyone,

I've been dating my boyfriend for over 2 years now, we would like to apply for a sponsorship but in order to be eligible for that we have to first become common laws, so, July last year I moved to Canada under my tourist visa and now I need to get a visa extension so I can complete 1 year of living together. I have a fews questions that I've been trying to ask the cic help centre but for the past week they have been unable to accept calls. anyway, this are my questions:

1) I have no proof of financial support coming from myself! when I left Brazil last year I closed all my bank accounts and all the money I had left its now gone. my credit card that helps me everyone and then its an additional of my moms account lol but my boyfriend has been the one who has really being supporting my all along. He works for the government, he has money saved and could easily proof that, but how exactly can I proof that he is my financial support?

2) Both my tourist visa and my passport expire January 2019, so if I apply for a visa extension now, how could that work? ill probably have to go back by October to Brazil to get a new one. that will be after I complete 1 year here. also, how long is the extension due?

a few extra informations that you guys might be able help me with when I apply.

We live together in a house that belongs to their parents, we never signed a lease because its an extra house so they don't charge us anything, I have no mails on my name, all we have is cable tv and its on his name. how could I have anything on my name if im not a citizen? what else should we get to proof we live together? we have nothing to proof that I've been living her since July, which is really dumb, I know. we could get a lease from his dad saying we've been living here since last year, is that possible?

thats all I can think of for now.

Thank you,

Madeleine H.
