I come from Italy (so I didn't need a visa to visit Canada) and I'm here in Quebec since September 4th.
I'm living with my boyfriend since the day I got here and we are applying for my extension, otherwise i'll have to come back on February 26th.
However, we can't understand several things on the form so we want to clear them up not to get it refused.
1. On the application they ask for an alias, nickname or maiden name.
I never used one of them except the middle name "Lynn", that is basically a nickname that friends use, it's written on facebook and a few people just call me Lynn, but i never signed legal documents and stuff using it cause it's not... "official". Should I put it anyways? By now is like a part of me.
2. Funds available: i have an italian prepaid credit card (Visa Electron) that my parents charge once in a while from my savings account, but I'm also living with my partner who works so he pays for groceries, the rent, etc.
What can i write on "My expenses in Canada will be paid by"? Cause it's either me, my boyfriend or my parents. And especially how can I prove them the amount of money I have knowing that my dad has my money on his account? Are they gonna check it? They say "funds available for my stay" but like i said it might vary, so what should I write?
3. Education/Employment: In 2012 I had an apprenticeship training organized by the school I was attending and I want to know if I have to write it on education or employment, cause I've never been paid for that and also it wasn't a real job but just a stage.
If I'm gonna write it on education then it means I have to leave the employment field blank cause i never worked before. However they show a "*" on that field but if i never worked i don't know what to write on it.
