So I am already here in Canada and the application for the extension of my study permit is on process. My husband is still in the Philippines and planning to apply for the Spousal Open Work Permit this February, is it okay? I also know that he needs to submit a copy of my study permit but it will be expiring this March and Im afraid they will base the validity of his permit on it. How can we explain that the extension of my study permit is still on process? Is it better to wait for my approval before he lodge his paper in the Philippines? Thanks so much.
