Hi!
I came to Canada to visit my boyfriend who has a work permit here on December 2015. I am from visa exempt country, so I was able to stay here for 6 months. June 2016 I applied to extend my visitor status, however, my application was refused, as I applied too late ( not in 30 days before my status expired). After refusal, I applied for restoration of my status. I applied 1.5 months ago, and at that time I was not sure how long I am planning to stay here, so in the section 'to' and 'how long you are planning to stay' i wrote December 2016 so it would be one year in Canada. My restoration application was approved today, however, it is only valid till December, as I asked, but in those couple of months while I was waiting I decided I would like to stay few months more.
So I am wondering if it is possible now to apply for extension of my visitor status again just after it was restored? If so, what should i write at the explanation letter? I know it was my mistake to stay here till December 2016 but in few months i changed my mind and i would like to stay here a bit more.
Thanks

Yes, it is.

You should write your reason to want to stay here more time.

Yup.

In theory there is nothing that prevents you from spending the rest of your life in Canada as a visitor. Of course you will have to convince CIC of a genuine reason to do so.
