Hi all, I've been reading through the other questions and answers here but still have some questions of my own...
What happens if you apply to extend your visit inside of the 30 days before your initial 6 mths is up? I think my form needed to be submitted at the end of last week.
I had the form almost completed and I don't think there would be any problems except for the proof of funds section. I have been working for clients back in Australia - I haven't done any work here in Canada - am I allowed to say this? Is working for clients in your home country while you're here ok? If so I can tell them I have funds coming in to support my stay.
If either of these two proves an issue (too late or unable to show funds currently available), do you think I still have the option of leaving and then re-entering Canada before my initial 6 mths expires?
Other details: I have a return flight home already so don't need money for that.
I'm here because my partner lives here as a Canadian citizen.
