Extending the expiration date for the Express Entry visa

Hi,
Is it possible to request an extension for the expiration date to enter Canada for an approved PR ?
Has anybody tried it or have any knowledge of the process ? or whether this is possible ?

My date to enter Canada is nearing and I may not be able to meet that due to existing commitments, any information will help.

Hi

Use it or lose it. Generally, IRCC is only flexible on this is when there are medical issues preventing travel or pregnancy. Even then, they sometimes refuse an extension.

You will have to do a "soft landing" and return home. It is not a cheap option, but it's the only one you have, apart from starting from scratch again.
