Extending Stay

I stayed in Canada from October 2023- September 2024 so I ended up extending my stay which then authorized me until March 2025. I am back in the US and plan to spend summer in Canada this year. Since my extended stay lasted until only March do I need to extend my stay again? I plan to be there from end of May to August with a couple trips back to the US in between. I’m unsure if I would be able to travel there without extending my stay even though I am only there for a shorter period of time. Anybody have any info on this?

Once you leave Canada any new entry is viewed as a separate visit. Given your long previous visit there may be a question of why you are spending so much time in Canada and how are you affording to do so and what ties you have to the US. If you are let into Canada and especially if you are questioned I’d probably be reluctant to cross the border frequently if you want to spend many months in Canada and have relatively weak ties to the US like a job, home, etc.
