Extending stay

My husband got his extension accepted, although it says he can stay till the 30th of september. My question is if it's too late to extend it again for another 6 months? I know it says at least 30 days prior to the expiry date, but would we still be able to extend it?

The 30 days is only a guideline. Yes - you can apply to extend again now.

So could I ask for a year extension? We're currently working towards PR, just gathering some stuff for the app and sending it off asap! Would that be a valid enough reason? Should I include paystubs from my jobto prove I can support him while he's here?

Yes it's a valid reason. Include some proof that you sent in the PR application if you can, and pay stubs showing you can support you two is also a good plan. You can ask for a year, but they always gave my husband only 6 months at a time, maybe they are more lenient now.
