Hi.

I am filling out the form called

"Application to change conditions, extend my stay or remain in Canada as visitor or temporary resident permit holder".

Is applying to 1. extend your stay and applying to 2. remain in Canada as visitor the same?

I am applying for my second extension so I think I should say extending my stay right?

And then on page 4 of this form, the question -

Have you previously applied to enter or remain in Canada?

I should say YES now right cos I am applying for second extension?

Help! I want to be sure what I am writing on the form :)

I would say 'yes' to the question on page 4 because you have a previous extension but as far as your other question, I would go with 'extend your stay' which is literally what you are trying to do even though, to me, they sound the same. More senior members may be able to clarify that better.

Hi

Where exactly are you needing to choose between these 2 options in the actual application?
