My spouse and I are currently in Canada on a Sper Visa which expires in 2021. Our current stay in Canada will end in June 2014, and that date has been stamped in our passports.
When we originally applied for our Super Visas we were under the impression that we could extend our stay for a further 24 months from within Canada.( News release dated November 2011). I have recently been advised that we need to exit Canada for a period of 3 months and apply to re enter. Can anyone help me with this question or direct me to a web etc to find the answer. I have looked at the CIC web and am still not quite sure.
