Extending stay in canada while waiting for PR

Hello,
Please help me.I got stuck here in a very complicated situation.I received my Ainp 1 month before my work permit expiry date.My lawyer filed for my PR and Open bridging work permit at the same time hoping that i will get my AOR before IRCC make any decision on my work permit.I was working under implied status for last 3 months.Unfortunately,my PR file was returned in Nov.due to a minor mistake made by my representative on the fee payment form.File was submitted again after fixing the mistake.Because of all this i have not received my AOR yet and my work permit got rejected 2 days ago.Now i have lost my status and i am on 90 days restoration.My lawyer advised my current employer to help me in getting close work permit by submitting job offer through employer Portal but my HR associate does not want to get involved into immigration matters..I have no idea what should be done please help..

I see multiple problems:

1) When u apply for work permit based on pr, u need to provide AOR - Acknowledgement of Receipt, in other words cic confirms that they received your application. Again, if u send both work permit and pr at same time, chances are that work permit will be processed much faster.

2) in my opinion resubmitting documents for pr and then go for work permit is way to go

Ur lawyer must tell u what 2 do.
In Ontario I got some sort of a letter of recomendation from the province to get a CLOSED work permit with my current employer without requestin an lmia. Im not sure how does the Ainp works. But if you didnt get something like that and your bowp request got rejected you have to leave the country and apply for a work permit from outside assuming you dont need an lmia.

Other than that after 90 days u will be out of status (illegally staying) in Canada and you will jeopardize ur residency.

Once again, talk to your lawyer and listem to him.

I agree with u, but his lawyer f***ed it up for him bad initially

Now,i cannot extend my work permit because my current employer is not ready to submit job offer online through the employer portal.I have my job offer letter in paper form but IRCC accepts it only through the Employer portal for close work permit extension.
Currently,i am looking for LMIA from another employer which is not easy to find in Alberta. If i get an LMIA from another province and extend my work permit on that basis,is that going to effect my PR application which is based on Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program?[/b]
