Extending stay in Canada (waiting for PR)

Hi all,

I am looking to apply online to extend my stay in Canada as a visitor. My partner is Canadian and she owns her own business from which she has been supporting us.

I currently have a PR Outland application being processed and would like to remain in Canada until that is finished, thus why I am applying for an extension.

The part I am stuck on is the proof of funds part. In the list of things it says you can provide as proof, it says "

• a letter from the person or institution providing you with money"

Can I get her to write that letter explaining she is supporting me?

What would be the best way to go about this?

Include a letter from her saying she is supporting you and her bank statements showing she can.
