Hi,
I recently got my PGWP, and its only for 3 months because my passport expires in 3 months. I can only renew my passport back home outside Canada. So Can I extend my PGWP while I'm outside Canada??
Thanks
Come back to your country ASAP and get a new passport, keep the older one if possible.
Apply for a PGWP date extension online as soon you get your new passport, I guessuggest you can apply for it abroad, but you should use your Canadian address. (Or do it online or paper when you come back)
Come back to Canada before your current PGWP expires, then after apply for PGWP you'll be in implied status, legally entitled to stay and work here (if you don't have a job now some employers could not like to hire someone under Implied Status but it's legal)
At the Port of Entry, carry copy if all forms and explanation letter you did use for PGWP extension application and explain your situation to the border officer, hopefully you can get a PGWP right away, if not, just wait for your application to be done.
Note that you can apply online from your country, or wait to be here, anyway as you can try to get your extension at the border.
Online extension currently is like 137 days, paper based 90 or so but applying from abroad I'm more confident about online.
You can apply abroad with your original country address and stay over there until get new PGWP, but if you can stay here in the meantime, probably will be better to keep status, try to work...
