I have a valid open work permit which expires on September 16th, 2023. I am in the process of filling out the IMM5710e form to extend my work permit while I await my PR. I have a question regarding "section 3: how to claim refugee status in Canada". Which option should I select? I believe it is either "Apply for a work permit with the same employer" or "Apply for a work permit for the first time or with a new employer".
Here are the options:
-Apply for a work permit with the same employer
-Restore my status as a worker
-Apply for a work permit for the first time or with a new employer
-Get a new temporary resident permit (for inadmissible applicants only)
