Extending closed work permit

Hello Everyone,

I am looking for help with my closed work permit extension.

I have applied for my PR under provincial nomination (SINP) and received i have received the file number.
My wife has open work permit.

How to extend closed work permit? should i apply and pay for open work permit and then go for BOWP? or should i apply for open work permit with the SINP letter?
I am the primary applicant for PR application, can my wife be the primary applicant while applying for work permit extension?
can i change "closed" wp to "Open" wp?
