Hey all,

Just wanted to clarify a detail on the extended stay visa. I'm an American married to a Canadian and have been living here in Canada since June 20th, I applied for my extended stay at the beginning of November. Due to the stipulation of visitors only being allowed to stay in country for six months does this mean I have to leave on December 20th and wait until my extended stay is completed or stay in Canada?
