Extend Work Permit-- Already have a AINP Nomination

Hello Everyone,
I am looking to extend my work permit and also have a AINP nomination.I applied for PR IN July 2016 and got my application number in Oct 2016.Just wondering how process will work on the basis of application number for extension of Work Permit.I called CIC they told me to wait for ELIGIBILITY CHECK.
How long it will take for eligibility check and and how process will work .

Did you apply through express entry? If not, the following may not apply.

If so, then you can apply for the Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP), assuming you currently have a valid work permit that is due to expire within the next 4 months. If you have your file number, you have already passed the completeness check.
